Referrals & Support

We’re here for you.

Experiencing the loss of a baby is a deeply saddening and unimaginable event for any family.

At Bloss, we acknowledge the profound pain and grief that accompany such a loss, and we stand ready to extend our steadfast support to parents, families, and grandparents during this challenging period. Our array of support services aims to deliver tailored care and assistance to those in need, whether immediately following the loss or throughout the following months and years.

To aid families, we offer hospital care packages filled with comforting items to provide solace during this difficult time. We can organise bereavement counselling services to create a safe environment for individuals to express their feelings and navigate the grieving journey. We also furnish essential information and guidance on practical matters like preparations before leaving the hospital, transitioning home, and bidding farewell to the baby.

Planning a funeral or memorial service for your baby can be overwhelming, and we understand this. Therefore, we extend our support by providing ideas and assistance to help you commemorate and honour your child’s memory in a meaningful manner. At Bloss, we are committed to accompanying you on your healing and remembrance path, offering empathy, compassion, and genuine care every step of the way.

Practitioner Referral

To assist practitioners such as hospital staff, midwives, doctors, and nurses who are guiding families through grief and loss, we have developed a specialised practitioner referral service.

This service is designed to help practitioners connect bereaved families with the additional support they may need. By using our referral service, practitioners can ensure that their patients have access to the help and resources that can assist them in coping with their loss. We kindly ask that practitioners inform their patients that they are referring them to Bloss, so families are aware that we will reach out to offer our support.

Our goal is to be a source of solace and aid for families navigating the challenging journey of grief and loss. Together, we can provide the care and assistance needed to help families heal and find comfort during this trying time.
